What You will Learn
You will learn about the tools and techniques of geometric measurement, the concept of congruence in comparing shapes (triangles), expanding the concept of measurement to 2 and 3 dimensions. Much of traditional Euclidean geometry (at a high school level) will be covered.
What You Will Need
As with Algebra 1, our diagnostic and assessment tests will help determining your student's level of preparation for the program and the amount of effort needed.
In most cases, middle school math and a taste for logical thinking will suffice. While Algebra 1 is not a pre-requisite for Geometry, it usually helps to take both concurrently.
